Job Description: Electrical Design and Test Engineer (Cable and Harness)

We have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Design and Test Engineer (Cable and Harness) to join our team Mb Solutions Inc.

The Electrical Design and Test Engineer (Cable and Harness) will:

• Design harnesses for flight-like DC power distribution systems
• Design breakout terminal blocks for large scale testbed
• Design interface cables for NI data acquisition systems
• Develop drawing packages for preliminary design review and critical design review
• Supervise technicians during fabrication of cables and harnesses
• Write procedures and direct testing and certification of cables​
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Requisition Qualifications:

• Requires a bachelor's degree in Engineering and a minimum of 2- 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area
• 5 plus years of experience preferred
• Experience with aerospace cable & harness design and military circular connectors
• Experience with design of electrical control panels, Ground Service Equipment, or Test Equipment
• Experience with Dielectric Withstand and Insulation Resistance testing of cables
• CAD software such as Visio, Graphite, or AutoCAD
• Familiar with standard electrical lab equipment such as power supplies, multimeters, oscilloscopes, load banks, and soldering stations
• Familiar with NI cDAQ, CRIO, or PXI data acquisition systems​

Requisition Preferences:

• ​Preferred BS Electrical Engineering
• Plus if familiar with JSC Ground Service Equipment (GSE) projects
• Plus if experience with CAD software for harness design such as Zuken
• Plus if familiar with NI Flexlogger​
