Position Summary:

Naval Submarine Base in Kings Bay, GA currently has an opening for an Senior Supply Support to provide administrative management support to the Navy Administration Department.



  • Provide inventory, storage, supply, and warehouse management support to the MCSFBN Supply Office.
  • Support tasks include ensuring completion of the MCSFBN's Inventory Control Plan, drafting causative research packages and providing recommendations to Supply Officer on potential corrective actions.
  • Conduct spot inventories, investigate minor property issues, and conduct semi-annual full inventory.
  • Provide a monthly warehouse and supply status report to the Supply Officer.
  • Pick up materials from the Strategic Weapons System Supply Warehouse at Kingsbay and other local vendors daily and deliver material to MCSFBN facilities and watch stations approximately daily.
  • Receive, pack and ship CBR bags back to manufacturer for repair/reutilization of used Gas Masks. This task shall execute the inventory control plan to ensure inventory goals are being met, conduct shipping and receiving efforts, process required paperwork in accordance with MCO 4400.15/MCO 4400.20, and coordinate movement of supplies with MCSFBN AOR. This support is for a warehouse that supports a MCSFBN of approximately 1,000 military members.
  • Provide data entry and manage warehouse levels using the government furnished ASAP Systems inventory control program.
  • Utilize the Defense Reutilization Marketing Office (DRMO) online software to prepare the disposition of government property for government approval.
  • Conduct inventories quarterly IAW NAVSUP Directives
  • Provide engraving services
  • Tag material for the Property Control of minor property
  • Provide outfitting of facilities and watch stations
  • Receive, pack and ship CBR bags back to manufacturer for repair/reutilization of used Gas Masks
  • Assist with command Minor Property issues and semi-annual inventory
  • Research information on Supply Request Forms for accuracy and completion, then performing market research for items prior to processing for procurement
  • Perform spot inventories for inventory of storeroom material
  • Make entries into ASAP inventory system and draft DRMO entries into computer system.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

Senior Supply Support effort, Contractor personnel often stand on hard surfaces for extended periods of time. The Senior Supply Support work effort involves bending, stooping, and working in tiring and sometimes uncomfortable positions. Contractor personnel may lift and carry items that weigh up to 45 pounds as part of the regular work effort. The heavier items are moved with material handling equipment or with assistance from other workers. Working conditions: For this effort, Contractor personnel work inside or outside in areas that may be hot, damp, cold, drafty, or poorly lighted. Contractor support personnel are regularly exposed to the possibility of cuts, scrapes, bruises, abrasions, falls, and injury from falling stock or mechanized conveyor systems and may be exposed to dust, dirt, grease, solvents, and high noise levels in working areas. When working in hazardous material areas, the Contractor support personnel may be subject to exposure from radiation, toxins, explosive hazards, or chemical fumes. The work effort may require wearing Contractor-provided personal protective equipment/clothing such as hard hats, steel-toed shoes, rubber gloves, masks, and rubber aprons.

Minimum Education & Experience Required:

      High School Diploma

  • Minimum 48 months experience in Navy supply and military warehouse operations
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ability to obtain and maintain material handling equipment (forklift) license
